Dr. Sanjay Patel’s interest fall under complicated Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Tubal Recanalization, Laparoscopic Wertheim’s Hysterectomy and Laparoscopic Sling Surgeries, Fertility enhancing Surgeries, Infertility & IVF treatment.
He is one of the pioneers of Gynaec-Endoscopic Surgeries in India-1st Gynaecologist in Asia to perform Laparoscopic Wertheim’s hysterectomy.He has also performed the world’s largest series of Laparoscopic Tubal Recanalisation and Adenoma resections.
He passed MBBS in 1989 & M.D. (Obst & Gynaec) in 1993 from B.J. Medical College & Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. Presently he is one of directors of the Mayflower Women’s Hospital, Ahmedabad. It is a recognized centre by FOGSI (Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Societies of India), Karl Storz, Germany and Johnson’s & Johnson’s India Pvt Ltd for the training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in gynaecology.
Dr. Sanjay Patel is the youngest and the only doctor in India who’s centre has been approved for Training and research in Gynaec Endoscopic Surgeries.He has performed more than 60,000 gynaec-endoscopic surgeries till date and has trained more than 800 doctors for Laparoscopic Gynaecological surgeries since 1998.
He is known Worldwide for his Expertise in Surgeries for Endometriosis.
